At Royalty Occupational Health (PPE Store), we aim to provide high-quality Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and workplace safety products. Due to the nature of our products, strict hygiene and safety regulations apply to returns and refunds.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined in this Returns & Refund Policy.


1. Overview

We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases. However, because we supply PPE, hygiene products, and industrial safety consumables, some items cannot be returned once delivered or opened due to health and safety regulations.

This policy complies with standard ecommerce hygiene practices in South Africa.


2. Eligible Returns

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • The item is defective or damaged upon arrival
  • The incorrect product was delivered
  • The product is unused and in original packaging
  • The return request is made within 7 days of delivery

All return requests must be approved before items are sent back.


3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are strictly non-returnable once opened or used:

  • Disposable masks
  • Disposable gloves
  • Shoe covers
  • Disposable aprons
  • First aid consumables (opened kits)
  • Medical consumables
  • Any PPE items that come into direct body contact
  • Custom or special-order items

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet hygiene safety standards.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of the product and packaging
  • Include your order number

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on stock availability.


5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Product is confirmed defective
  • Product is out of stock after payment
  • Incorrect item was supplied and cannot be replaced

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Processing time may take 5–10 business days depending on the payment provider.


6. Return Process

To initiate a return, customers must:

  2. Provide order details and reason for return
  3. Wait for return approval
  4. Package the item securely
  5. Send the item to the provided return address (if approved)

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


7. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item), we will cover return shipping costs.
  • If the return is due to customer error (wrong order, change of mind), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


8. Exchanges

Where possible, we may offer exchanges instead of refunds, subject to stock availability.

Exchanges apply only to:

  • Incorrect items supplied
  • Defective products

We do not guarantee exchanges for discontinued products.


9. Bulk Orders & Corporate Purchases

Bulk or corporate orders are subject to stricter return conditions:

  • Special pricing orders may be non-returnable

  • PPE products that have been opened cannot be resold
  • Items must remain sealed and unused to qualify for return

11. Order Cancellation

Orders may only be cancelled if:

  • The order has not yet been dispatched

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be treated under this Returns Policy.


12. Inspection Rights

All returned items will be inspected upon receipt.

  • Reject returns that are used or damaged by the customer
  • Adjust refund amounts based on product condition
  • Decline refunds if policy conditions are not met
