Welcome to Royalty Occupational Health Services. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, website, bookings, and any other interaction with us.   • Company / We / Us means Royalty Occupational Health Services, its agents, employees, and contractors.

  • Client / You / Customer means any person, company or organisation who books or receives any service from the Company.

  • Services means any medical, occupational health, screening, consultation, surveillance, wellness, PPE supply, or other healthcare services we provide.

  • Appointment means any scheduled service booking between the Client and the Company.

  • Website means royaltyoccuhealth.co.za and all related digital platforms.


2. Agreement & Services

  • These Terms apply to all bookings, services delivered, and interactions via our Website.

  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel any appointment at our discretion (e.g. due to scheduling issues, staff availability, or if we consider the service not appropriate).

  • We provide services in accordance with applicable laws (including the Occupational Health & Safety Act of South Africa, healthcare regulations, and data protection laws such as POPIA).


3. Booking, Payments & Fees

  • Appointments must be booked via our Website or by contacting us directly.

  • Payment terms will be communicated before booking / prior to service, depending on the service. Some services may require full or partial payment in advance.

  • Fees are subject to change; however, once an appointment is confirmed at a stated fee, that fee applies unless otherwise notified.

  • If additional work or testing is required beyond the scope originally agreed, extra charges may apply.


4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least [insert hours, e.g. 24 hours] notice.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee.

  • The Company may cancel or change appointment times due to emergencies, operational issues, or any unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as early as possible and attempt to reschedule.


5. Client Obligations

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information about medical history, current health conditions, and contact details.

  • Follow any preparatory instructions given (e.g. fasting, not wearing jewellery, etc.).

  • Arrive on time; late arrivals may lead to shortened or rescheduled appointments.

  • Use PPE or follow safety instructions when attending physical or on-site visits.


6. Health & Safety & Compliance

  • We adhere to national health, safety, hygiene, and professional standards.

  • All staff are trained and qualified; we use appropriate medical equipment and maintain sanitary, safe work environments.

  • We comply with relevant legislation, including the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Public Health regulations, and applicable medical practice standards.


7. Privacy, Data & Confidentiality

  • We collect, store, and process personal and medical information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • Medical records, test results, and personal data are held confidentially. Only authorised staff and entities (as required by law) have access.

  • By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information for purposes of delivering the service, maintaining medical records, reporting, and compliance.


8. Liability & Disclaimers

  • While we strive to deliver accurate, high-quality services, medical results may sometimes vary; health conditions can be subject to individual differences.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, except where otherwise required by law.

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.


9. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Website (text, images, logos, videos etc.) is owned by Royalty Occupational Health or its licensors.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify content without our written permission.


10. Termination

  • We may terminate or suspend services at any time if you breach any of these Terms.

  • Termination does not affect obligations accrued before termination.


11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

  • Any disputes will be attempted to be resolved amicably. If not, disputes may be brought before the competent courts in Johannesburg.
